Members of the Alumni Association of the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali were gathered Sunday, November 26th, 2017.
It was a colorful and enthusiastic gathering where the old students came from different horizons and met at their university.
“It is joyful. It is been too long without seeing each other, I graduated in 2010 and since then, I never returned here and I never met my fellow colleagues. I am happy for this gathering,” said Mr. Emmanuel Nzabonimpa, one of the participants.
The participants were excited to come back to their university and have testified that the school has grown bigger.
“A lot has changed. New infrastructures everywhere, modern classes, new staffs,” said Mrs. Agripine Uwera.
During the gathering, different authorities from UNILAK addressed the participants, thanked them for coming back to the school and urged them to stay connected, united and work together to reach far.
“We value you as our children, you are the foundation of the image that UNILAK has today. We wish you to stay connected to each other and support each other either physically, financially as well as spiritually,” said Dr. Jean Ngamije, the Vice Chancellor of UNILAK.
The gathering ended by setting a team of people from every promotion and they were tasked to elect an Alumni Association committee.
