A hundred of students from MBA at the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) have benefited from a public lecture on banking system. The lecture was issued by an agent from Goshen Bank this Sunday March 1st, 2020.
The lecture was meant to link the theories learned in class with the reality in the workplace.
Ndayishimiye Ismael, an accountant at GOSHEN Bank is the one who facilitated the public lecture and put much more emphasis on how people can have access on bank services.
The management of UNILAK told that this public lecture was delivered in order to set a link between theories leant in classes and reality in the workplace.
“Organizing such public lectures help students to make a self evaluation on how far they are in their studies” said Dr. Rutamu.
Students who benefited from this public lecture enjoyed it and are very thankful to UNILAK and said that they gained a lot from this public lecture.
“This help us to remember what we learnt in classes and to set a link between theory and practice so far, we didn’t found any difference between the curriculum and the practice, said Rafiki Josué, a student in Human Resources Management.
Rafiki Josue was echoed by his colleague Kamathali Ruth who said that this lecture was an opportunity to share experiences.
Such public lectures are repeatedly organized by UNILAK to give a space of experiences to its students.
