The enrolment for those who wish to join UNILAK in the academic year 2018-2019 is ongoing in all the three campuses of UNILAK.
“The registration for September intake kicked off earlier in July and the academic year is supposed to start on September 17th, 2018”; stated Mr. Gaston Kagemana; the Director of Academic Affairs and Registrar at UNILAK.
UNILAK has three campuses namely Kigali the headquarters, Nyanza and Rwamagana. At all these campuses courses are offered in four faculties namely Economic Sciences and Management, Law, Environmental Studies and Computing and Information Sciences.
All these four faculties offer courses at undergraduate and master’s levels and have 13 departments in total.
“Courses which are offered within UNILAK are the same across all our three campuses and are taught by same lecturers,” said Dr. Rutamu Augustine; The Deputy Vice chancellor of Academics and Research.
“One of the best things about enrolling in UNILAK has been the flexibility we offer. We have day, evening and a weekend programs and they are all offered in a conducive learning environment” added Dr Rutamu.
For the wellbeing and security of its students, UNILAK offers accommodation for both male and female in its campuses of Rwamagana and Nyanza.
UNILAK opened its doors in 1997. Since then it has two intakes within a year, one in March and another in September.
