In a colorful event of closing the induction week held this Friday 19th October 2018 at UNILAK Kigali Campus, new students were urged to link what they learn with their pledges.
“We are very grateful for all your efforts in assisting needy people in different ways, but we want you to go very far, we would be happier if you try to link your knowledge; what you have learned to your pledges. This would leave a mark from you;” said Major General Emmanuel Bayingana, the Vice Chairman of National Itorero Commission who was the guest of Honor in this event.
He encouraged the new comers to put more efforts in their studies as well as researches so that within a given period of time they would make an impact within the country.
On the side of the UNILAK management, students were promised to be assisted at any cost.
“We are with you and we are ready to support you in all your endeavors. We are ready to provide everything you may need to accomplish you target. We encourage you to dream big and go far,” said Dr. Ngamije Jean, the Vice Chancellor of UNILAK.
The induction week is a yearly tradition at UNILAK. This one takes place from 15th, October to 19th October 2018.
It aims to settle down new students and impart them with Rwandan values to enable them to make the most of their University experience and be part of Intagamburuzwamumihigo za UNILAK.
The theme for this year was: “Transformed to transform.”
